...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN MARSHALL...
RUTHERFORD...EAST CENTRAL MAURY...SOUTHEASTERN WILLIAMSON...NORTHERN
BEDFORD AND SOUTHWESTERN CANNON COUNTIES THROUGH 530 PM CDT...

At 504 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 14
miles northwest of Shelbyville, moving northeast at 75 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Murfreesboro, Walterhill, Chapel Hill, Eagleville, Lascassas,
Christiana, Fosterville, Rover, Deason, Rockvale, Bradyville,
Unionville, and Readyville.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 65 near mile marker 48.
 Interstate 24 between mile markers 72 and 94.
 Interstate 840 between mile markers 43 and 59.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 900 PM CDT for Middle
Tennessee.
