...Strong thunderstorms will impact portions of Lewis, Wayne,
Lawrence, Perry and southwestern Hickman Counties through 330 AM
CDT...

At 245 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking an area of strong
thunderstorms centered 8 miles northwest of Waynesboro, moving
southeast at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 30 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Lawrenceburg, Hohenwald, Waynesboro, Linden, Loretto, Collinwood,
Summertown, Clifton, Lobelville, St. Joseph, Ethridge, Henryville,
Cypress Inn, Flatwoods, Lutts, Leoma, Westpoint, Iron City and
Pleasantville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Brief heavy rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead
to localized minor flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through
flooded roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
