...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of southeastern
Davidson, De Kalb, central Rutherford, southern Wilson and Cannon
Counties through 1100 PM CDT...

At 1029 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8
miles northeast of Walterhill, or 9 miles south of Lebanon, moving
southeast at 50 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Murfreesboro, Lebanon, Smithville, Woodbury, Smyrna, La Vergne,
Watertown, Walterhill, Rural Hill, Alexandria, Dowelltown, Liberty,
Auburntown, Lascassas, Cedars Of Lebanon State Park, Bradyville,
Milton, Gladeville and Readyville.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 40 between mile markers 234 and 243.
 Interstate 840 between mile markers 54 and 76.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
