...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of Davidson,
northeastern Dickson, eastern Montgomery, southwestern Sumner,
Cheatham and Robertson Counties through 1000 PM CDT...

At 914 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 9
miles northwest of Coopertown, or 10 miles west of Springfield,
moving southeast at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Clarksville, Gallatin, Springfield, Ashland City, Nashville, Madison,
Hendersonville, Goodlettsville, White House, Millersville,
Greenbrier, Coopertown, Belle Meade, Kingston Springs, Lakewood,
Pegram, Ridgetop, Bellevue, Old Hickory and Joelton.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 40 between mile markers 190 and 211.
 Interstate 65 between mile markers 82 and 108.
 Interstate 24 between mile markers 1 and 49.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
