...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of southeastern Wayne,
southern Lawrence and southern Giles Counties through 430 AM CDT...

At 332 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8
miles southeast of Collinwood, or 16 miles southeast of Waynesboro,
moving east at 55 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 30 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Pulaski, Loretto, Ardmore, St. Joseph, Elkton, Minor Hill,
Goodspring, Leoma, Westpoint, Iron City and Prospect.

This includes Interstate 65 between mile markers 1 and 11.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Brief heavy rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead
to localized minor flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through
flooded roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
