...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 1045 AM CDT THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of Middle Tennessee, including the following
  counties, Houston, Montgomery and Stewart.

* WHEN...Until 1045 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 739 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area.
  - This includes the following streams and drainages...
    Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area, Saline Creek
    including Bumpus Mills, Dyers Creek including Big Rock, Lee
    Creek, North Cross Creek, Honey Fork Creek including Indian
    Mound, Hickman Creek including Dover, Lick Creek, Bellwood
    Branch, Cub Creek including Atkins, Long Creek, Cross Creek,
    and Elk Creek.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Dover, Erin, Tennessee Ridge, Big Rock, Cumberland City,
    Indian Mound, Woodlawn, Palmyra and Land Between The Lakes.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
