...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of southeastern
Davidson, northern Rutherford, eastern Williamson and southwestern
Wilson Counties through 1230 PM CST...

At 1151 AM CST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm
near Thompson's Station, or near Franklin, moving northeast at 55
mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Murfreesboro, Franklin, Lebanon, Smyrna, Brentwood, La Vergne, Spring
Hill, Nolensville, Thompson's Station, Walterhill, Rural Hill,
Lascassas, Triune, Cedars Of Lebanon State Park and Gladeville.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 40 between mile markers 232 and 239.
 Interstate 65 between mile markers 56 and 67.
 Interstate 24 between mile markers 60 and 74.
 Interstate 840 between mile markers 22 and 48, and between mile
markers 52 and 76.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Brief heavy rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead
to minor localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through
flooded roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
