...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of southern Davidson,
north central Williamson and west central Wilson Counties through
NOON CST...

At 1128 AM CST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Bellevue, or 8 miles northwest of Franklin, moving northeast at 55
mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Franklin, Nashville, Hendersonville, Brentwood, Mount Juliet, Forest
Hills, Oak Hill, Belle Meade, Lakewood, Pegram, Hermitage, Rural
Hill, Bellevue, Antioch, Old Hickory, Berry Hill, Natchez Trace At
Highway 96, Percy Priest Lake and Green Hill.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 40 between mile markers 192 and 224.
 Interstate 65 between mile markers 71 and 88.
 Interstate 24 between mile markers 47 and 59.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Brief heavy rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead
to minor localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through
flooded roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
