...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 145 PM CST THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of Middle Tennessee, including the following
  counties, Bedford, Giles, Hickman, Lawrence, Lewis, Marshall,
  Maury, Rutherford, Wayne and Williamson.

* WHEN...Until 145 PM CST.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
  Some low-water crossings may become impassable.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1044 AM CST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area.
  - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected
    over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
    flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Columbia, Lewisburg, Lawrenceburg, Pulaski, Spring Hill,
    Mount Pleasant, Thompson's Station, Loretto, Collinwood,
    Summertown, Chapel Hill, St. Joseph, Eagleville, Ethridge,
    Lynnville, Henryville, Hampshire, Gordonsburg, Culleoka and
    Leoma.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
