...A TORNADO WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 415 PM CST FOR
NORTHEASTERN LAWRENCE...SOUTH CENTRAL MAURY AND NORTHWESTERN GILES
COUNTIES...

At 404 PM CST, a confirmed tornado was located 7 miles southeast of
Summertown, or 12 miles northeast of Lawrenceburg, moving northeast
at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Damaging tornado.

SOURCE...Emergency management confirmed tornado. At 402 PM...damage
         was reported in Ethridge from this storm.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
         shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage
         to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree damage is
         likely.

This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
northeastern Lawrence, south central Maury and northwestern Giles
Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

To repeat, a tornado is on the ground. TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a
basement or an interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy
building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a mobile home, or in
a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter and protect
yourself from flying debris.
