...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of southeastern
Davidson, northwestern Rutherford and eastern Williamson Counties
through 115 AM CST...

At 1244 AM CST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Thompson's Station, or 7 miles southwest of Franklin, moving
northeast at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 30 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Franklin, Smyrna, Brentwood, La Vergne, Spring Hill, Nolensville,
Forest Hills, Oak Hill, Thompson's Station, Antioch, Rural Hill,
Berry Hill, Triune, Leipers Fork and Percy Priest Lake.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 40 between mile markers 213 and 218.
 Interstate 65 between mile markers 53 and 79.
 Interstate 24 between mile markers 52 and 72.
 Interstate 840 between mile markers 21 and 45, and near mile marker
59.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
