CANCELLED...

The storms which prompted the warning have moved out of the warned
area. Therefore, the warning has been cancelled.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 800 PM CDT for
Middle Tennessee.

...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 300 PM CDT
FOR DICKSON...MONTGOMERY...NORTHWESTERN WILLIAMSON...CHEATHAM...
NORTHERN HICKMAN AND WESTERN ROBERTSON COUNTIES...

At 245 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from Oak Grove to 9 miles north of White Bluff to 9 miles
northeast of Centerville, moving east at 40 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Clarksville, Springfield, Dickson, Oak Grove, Ashland City,
Centerville, Fort Campbell, Coopertown, White Bluff, Kingston
Springs, Pegram, Burns, Guthrie, Fairview, Pleasant View, Charlotte,
Adams, Vanleer, Cedar Hill and Slayden.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 40 between mile markers 152 and 159, and between mile
markers 161 and 191.
 Interstate 24 between mile markers 1 and 31.
 Interstate 840 between mile markers 1 and 14.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Move indoors immediately. Lightning is one of nature's leading
killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to
be struck by lightning.
