...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1215 PM CDT
FOR SOUTHEASTERN RUTHERFORD...NORTHERN COFFEE...WARREN...NORTHEASTERN
BEDFORD...NORTHERN GRUNDY AND SOUTHERN CANNON COUNTIES...

At 1144 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 9 miles north of
Manchester, moving east at 55 mph.

HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile
         homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

Locations impacted include...
McMinnville, Manchester, Altamont, Morrison, Wartrace, Bell Buckle,
Beersheba Springs, Centertown, Viola, Bradyville, Beechgrove and
Summitville.

This includes Interstate 24 between mile markers 91 and 111.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 600 PM CDT for Middle
Tennessee.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
