...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 AM CDT THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of Middle Tennessee, including the following
  counties, Coffee and Grundy.

* WHEN...Until 800 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 545 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms moving slowly across eastern Coffee and Grundy
    Counties. Radar estimates between 1 and 5 inches of rain have
    fallen overnight in this area. Minor flooding is ongoing or
    expected to begin shortly in the advisory area.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Gruetli-Laager, Tracy City, Altamont, Coalmont, Palmer,
    Beersheba Springs, Pelham and Hillsboro.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
