...Strong thunderstorms will impact portions of Van Buren, eastern
Warren, northern Grundy, White and central Putnam Counties through
1145 PM CDT...

At 1109 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms
along a line extending from near Cookeville to Altamont. Movement
was northeast at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Cookeville, McMinnville, Sparta, Spencer, Algood, Monterey, Altamont,
Doyle, Beersheba Springs, Hamptons Crossroads, Bakers Crossroads,
Burgess Falls State Park, Rock Island State Park and Fall Creek Falls
State Park.

This includes Interstate 40 between mile markers 283 and 303.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
