...Strong thunderstorms will impact portions of southwestern Overton,
eastern Smith, Jackson and Putnam Counties through 400 PM CDT...

At 310 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 6 miles north of Carthage to 7 miles west of
Baxter. Movement was east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Cookeville, Carthage, Gainesboro, Algood, Monterey, Baxter,
Whitleyville, Pleasant Shade, Granville and Cummins Falls State Park.

This includes Interstate 40 between mile markers 265 and 303.
