...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 230 PM CDT
FOR NORTHWESTERN OVERTON...SOUTHEASTERN JACKSON...SOUTH CENTRAL CLAY
AND CENTRAL PUTNAM COUNTIES...

At 211 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Gainesboro to Cookeville, moving northeast at 35
mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
         roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Cookeville, Gainesboro, Algood, Baxter and Cummins Falls State Park.

This includes Interstate 40 between mile markers 279 and 293.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
