...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of southwestern
Overton, southeastern Jackson and central Putnam Counties through 900
PM CDT...

At 826 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Livingston, moving southwest at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Cookeville, Livingston, Algood, Baxter, Rickman and Cummins Falls
State Park.

This includes Interstate 40 between mile markers 283 and 297.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
