This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for Middle Tennessee.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.

An Air Quality Alert has been issued for the Nashville Metro area
and surrounding communities today into tonight. Active children and
adults, and people with a respiratory disease such as Asthma, should
limit prolonged outdoor exertion.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

An Air Quality Alert has been issued for the Nashville Metro area
and surrounding communities again for Wednesday. Active children and
adults, and people with a respiratory disease such as Asthma, should
limit prolonged outdoor exertion.

Heat index values will peak in the 100 to 105 degree range on
Wednesday afternoon. Use caution if outdoors for long periods of
time as heat-related illnesses such as heat stroke and heat
exhaustion can develop quickly.
