...Strong thunderstorms will impact portions of western Smith,
southeastern Sumner, Wilson, southern Macon and Trousdale Counties
through 430 PM CDT...

At 354 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Hartsville to Rural Hill. Movement was
east at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Lebanon, Lafayette, Carthage, Hartsville, Watertown, South Carthage,
Cedars Of Lebanon State Park, Tuckers Crossroads, Dixon Springs,
Pleasant Shade, Dickerson Chapel Recreation Area and Gladeville.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 40 between mile markers 232 and 254.
 Interstate 840 between mile markers 67 and 76.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
