...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of Rutherford County
through 815 PM CDT...

At 739 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Smyrna, or 8 miles northwest of Murfreesboro, moving southeast at 30
mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Murfreesboro, Smyrna, La Vergne, Walterhill, Lascassas, Christiana
and Rockvale.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 24 between mile markers 67 and 93.
 Interstate 840 between mile markers 46 and 63.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
