...Strong thunderstorms will impact portions of northwestern Jackson,
northeastern Sumner, west central Clay, Macon and northern Trousdale
Counties through 545 PM CDT...

At 506 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Lafayette to 6 miles southeast of
Portland. Movement was southeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Gallatin, Lafayette, Hartsville, Westmoreland, Red Boiling Springs,
Bethpage, Bledsoe Creek State Park and Bugtussle.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
