...The National Weather Service in Nashville has issued a Flood
Advisory for the following rivers in Tennessee...

  Cumberland River At Pennington Bend affecting Davidson County.

For the Cumberland River...including Pennington Bend...elevated
river levels are forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If you encounter a flooded roadway, turn around and find an
alternative route.

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

Additional information is available at www.weather.gov.

The next statement will be issued Friday morning at 1000 AM CST.

NOTICE...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Cumberland River At Pennington Bend.

* WHEN...From this afternoon until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 42.0 feet, Low lying areas along the river around
  Pennington Bend are inundated from near the River Trace
  subdivision to the Cumberland River Greenway bridge in Shelby
  Bottoms Park.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 3:45 PM CST Thursday the stage was 42.1 feet and rising.
  - Forecast...No forecast is available for this location.
  - Action stage is 42.0 feet.
  - Flood stage is 47.0 feet.
