...The Flood Advisory is extended for the following rivers in
Tennessee...

  Cumberland River At Nashville affecting Davidson County.

For the Cumberland River...including Nashville...elevated river
levels are forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

Additional information is available at www.weather.gov.

The next statement will be issued Friday morning at 800 AM CST.

...FLOOD ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL MONDAY EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...Cumberland River At Nashville.

* WHEN...Until Monday evening.

* IMPACTS...At 35.0 feet, Low lying areas along the river from the
  I-24 bridge to the I-65 bridge are significantly inundated,
  including riverfront recreation areas and access points near
  Nissan Stadium. Industrial properties along the river should
  monitor further increases in river levels.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1:30 PM CST Thursday the stage was 34.4 feet and rising.
  - Forecast...The river will rise to 34.9 feet just after
    midnight tonight. It will then fall to 31.5 feet and begin
    rising again Sunday morning. It will rise to 31.6 feet early
    Sunday afternoon. It will then fall again and remain below
    flood stage.
  - Action stage is 30.0 feet.
  - Flood stage is 40.0 feet.
