...Forecast flooding changed from Minor to Moderate severity for the
following rivers in Tennessee...

  Buffalo River Near Lobelville affecting Perry County.

For the Buffalo River...including Lobelville...Moderate flooding is
forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

The next statement will be issued Friday morning at 700 AM CST.

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
  forecast.

* WHERE...Buffalo River Near Lobelville.

* WHEN...Until early Saturday afternoon.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 12:30 PM CST Thursday the stage was 18.1 feet and rising.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    late Saturday evening and continue falling to 10.1 feet
    Tuesday morning.
  - Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    18.1 feet on 01/24/1999.
