...The National Weather Service in Nashville has issued a Flood
Advisory for the following rivers in Tennessee...

  Piney River Near Vernon affecting Hickman County.

For the Other Area Rivers...including Vernon...elevated river levels
are forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If you encounter a flooded roadway, turn around and find an
alternative route.

Additional information is available at www.weather.gov.

The next statement will be issued late tonight at 145 AM CST.

...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM THIS MORNING UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Piney River Near Vernon.

* WHEN...From this morning until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 10.0 feet, Water begins to overflow the natural banks
  and inundates low lying areas along the river from Interstate 40
  to near Pinewood, Nunnelly, and down to the Duck River.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 7:15 AM CST Thursday the stage was 10.5 feet and rising.
  - Forecast...No forecast is available for this location.
  - Action stage is 10.0 feet.
  - Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
