...The National Weather Service in Nashville has issued a Flood
Advisory for the following rivers in Tennessee...

  Piney River Near Vernon affecting Hickman County.

For the Piney River...elevated river levels are forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If you encounter a flooded roadway, turn around and find an
alternative route.

Additional information is available at www.weather.gov.

...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT THROUGH LATE THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Piney River Near Vernon.

* WHEN...Through this evening.

* IMPACTS...At 10.0 feet, Water begins to overflow the natural banks
  and inundates low lying areas along the river from Interstate 40
  to near Pinewood, Nunnelly, and down to the Duck River.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 4:15 PM CST Tuesday the stage was 10.4 feet and rising.
  - Forecast...The river will continue rising through early this
    evening before falling.
  - Action stage is 10.0 feet.
  - Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
