evening...

.Red Flag conditions have been met across a large portion of
Middle Tennessee this afternoon. Surface winds have increased to
15 to 25 mph from the southwest, and relative humidity values have
dipped below 30% at several reporting stations.

The National Weather Service in Nashville has issued a Red Flag
Warning, which is in effect until 10 PM CST this evening.

* AFFECTED AREA...Fire weather zones 005, 006, 007, 008, 009,
  010, 011, 023, 024, 025, 026, 027, 028, 029, 030, 031, 032,
  033, 034, 056, 057, 058, 059, 060, 061, 062, 063, 064, 065,
  066, 075, 076, 077, 078, 079, 080, 092, 093, 094, 095, 096,
  and 097.

* WIND...15 to 25 mph.

* HUMIDITY...30% or lower.

* THUNDERSTORMS...None.

* IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly.
  Outdoor burning is not recommended.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now, or will shortly. A combination of
strong winds, low relative humidity, and warm temperatures can
contribute to extreme fire behavior.
