...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 845 AM CST THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of Middle Tennessee, including the following
  counties, Clay, Macon, Pickett and Sumner.

* WHEN...Until 845 AM CST.

* IMPACTS...Water over roadways.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 648 AM CST, emergency management reported heavy rain in
    the advisory area due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is
    ongoing or expected to begin shortly. Between 1 and 2 inches
    of rain have fallen.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Lafayette, White House, Westmoreland, Red Boiling Springs,
    Portland, Mitchellville, Bethpage, Oak Grove, Cottontown and
    Moss.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
