...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 5 PM CDT THIS
AFTERNOON FOR EAST CENTRAL CHEATHAM, NORTHWESTERN DAVIDSON,
SOUTHEASTERN ROBERTSON AND SOUTHWESTERN SUMNER COUNTIES...

At 325 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms continue to
produce very heavy rain across the warned area around Ashland City,
Joelton, Ridgetop and Goodlettsville. Radar estimates between 2 and
4 inches of rain have fallen in the past 1 to 2 hours. Flash
flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Radar.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
         highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
         drainage and low-lying areas.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Ashland City, Hendersonville, Goodlettsville, White House,
  Millersville, Greenbrier, Coopertown, Ridgetop, Joelton, Whites
  Creek and Beaman Park.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
