This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for Middle Tennessee.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

A Freeze Warning is in effect for the Upper Cumberland until 8 AM
CDT, with a Frost Advisory in effect for most of the rest of Middle
Tennessee. Low temperatures will fall into the low to mid 30s
resulting in widespread frost, which could damage or kill sensitive
outdoor vegetation.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

A weak frontal boundary is expected to stall just to the northwest of
our area by Monday night. This could lead to some isolated strong to
severe thunderstorms Monday afternoon into the overnight hours across
our northwestern counties.

A strong cold front will bring numerous showers and thunderstorms to
Middle Tennessee late Wednesday into Wednesday night. Some storms
could be strong to severe. Timing and details still remain uncertain
this far out in time, but the severe threat does appear to be
increasing.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation may be needed late Wednesday into Wednesday night.
Please relay any information about observed severe weather to the
NWS while following all local, state, and CDC guidelines.
