...FREEZE WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 AM CDT THIS MORNING...
...FROST ADVISORY IS CANCELLED...

* WHAT...Sub-freezing temperatures as low as 30 expected.

* WHERE...Grundy, Fentress, Cumberland and Van Buren Counties.

* WHEN...Until 7 AM CDT this morning.

* IMPACTS...Freezing conditions will kill crops, other sensitive
  vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor plumbing.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold. To prevent
freezing and possible bursting of outdoor water pipes they should
be wrapped, drained, or allowed to drip slowly. Those that have
in-ground sprinkler systems should drain them and cover above-
ground pipes to protect them from freezing.

Current satellite observations shows a thick cloud deck over all
of Middle TN that will likely remain in place until the morning
hours. Latest temps remain in the low 40s for most outside of the
Upper Cumberland. For these reasons, the frost advisory has been
cancelled for this morning across all of Middle TN.
