The National Weather Service in Nashville has issued a

* Flood Advisory for...
  Southern Jackson County in middle Tennessee...
  Southern Overton County in middle Tennessee...
  Putnam County in middle Tennessee...

* Until 230 PM CDT.

* At 1121 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
  thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
  shortly in the advisory area, especially along Blackburn Fork
  including Double springs, Cummins Falls State Park, Center Grove
  and Freewill.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Cookeville, Gainesboro, Algood, Monterey, Baxter, Rickman and
  Granville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
