The National Weather Service in Nashville has issued a

* Flood Advisory for...
  Cheatham County in middle Tennessee...
  Northwestern Davidson County in middle Tennessee...
  Dickson County in middle Tennessee...
  Robertson County in middle Tennessee...
  Northwestern Sumner County in middle Tennessee...

* Until 115 PM CDT.

* At 1008 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
  thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
  shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 3 inches of rain
  have fallen.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Springfield, Dickson, Ashland City, White House, Millersville,
  Greenbrier, Coopertown, White Bluff, Kingston Springs, Pegram,
  Ridgetop, Cross Plains, Burns, Portland, Joelton, Pleasant View,
  Charlotte, Orlinda, Vanleer and Mitchellville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
