...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of southern Maury and
northwestern Giles Counties through 1015 PM CDT...

At 956 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Mount Pleasant, or 10 miles southwest of Columbia, moving northeast
at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Columbia, Spring Hill, Mount Pleasant, I-65 East Of Columbia and
Culleoka.

This includes Interstate 65 between mile markers 40 and 52.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until midnight CDT for
Middle Tennessee.
