...Forecast flooding changed from Moderate to Major severity and
increased in duration for the following rivers in Tennessee...

  Duck River At Centerville affecting Hickman County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

A Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or occurring. All
interested parties should take necessary precautions immediately.

...Forecast flooding increased from Moderate to Major severity and
increased in duration until late Thursday evening...

The Flood Warning continues for
  the Duck River At Centerville.
* Until Thursday evening.
* At 8:00 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 34.7 feet and rising.
* Flood stage is 22.0 feet.
* Major flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast.
* Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending
  at 8:00 PM CDT Sunday was 35.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 39.0 feet
  early Tuesday morning. It will then fall below flood stage
  Thursday afternoon.
* Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 37.6
  feet on 02/14/1948.
