...The National Weather Service in Nashville has issued a Flood
Advisory for the following rivers in Tennessee...Alabama...

  Duck River Near Shelbyville affecting Bedford and Marshall
  Counties.

  Duck River Above Milltown affecting Marshall County.

  Buffalo River Above Flat Woods affecting Wayne and Perry Counties.

  Shoal Creek Near Iron City affecting Lauderdale and Lawrence
  Counties.

  Richland Creek Above Pulaski affecting Giles County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Flood Advisory means river or stream flows are elevated, or
ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

  the Buffalo River Above Flat Woods.
* From early this morning to Monday afternoon.
* At 5:00 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 20.0 feet and rising.
* Action stage is 15.0 feet.
* Flood stage is 22.0 feet.
* Forecast...No forecast is available for this location.
* Impact...At 22.0 feet, Portions of Old Highway 13 near the gauge
  begin to flood. Other low lying areas along the river from
  northern Wayne County to near Linden in Perry County also begin to
  flood.

  the Duck River Near Shelbyville.
* From early this morning to Monday afternoon.
* At 5:30 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 17.1 feet and rising.
* Action stage is 21.0 feet.
* Flood stage is 25.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river is forecast to rise to near 24 feet this
  evening.
* Impact...At 21.0 feet, Low lying areas along the river from
  Normandy Dam to Henry Horton State Park, agriculutral land, and
  access points begin to be inundated. This includes the Dement
  Bridge boat ramp, the Three Forks Bridge canoe and kayak access
  point, the Mullins Mill Bridge access point, and River Botttom
  Park and Fisherman's Park in Shelbyville.
* Impact...At 23.0 feet, Water continues to impact low lying areas
  along the river, agriculutral land, and access points including
  the Dement Bridge boat ramp, the Three Forks Bridge canoe and
  kayak access point, the Mullins Mill Bridge access point, and
  River Botttom Park and Fisherman's Park in Shelbyville.

  431.
* Impact...At 36.0 feet, Water begins to flood properties and
  secondary access roads along the river from Henry Horton State
  Park to Highway 431.

  afternoon.
* Impact...At 16.0 feet, Flooding of low lying agricultural land
  along the river begins
* Impact...At 20.0 feet, Portions of Vales Mill Rd between Chicken
  Creek Rd and the Highway 64 bypass become inundated and may be
  subject to closure
