CUMBERLAND...SOUTHEASTERN JACKSON...NORTH CENTRAL WHITE...PUTNAM AND
SOUTHWESTERN FENTRESS COUNTIES UNTIL 215 AM CDT...

At 133 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 8 miles east of Gainesboro to near Baxter.
Movement was east at 45 mph.

Wind gusts up to 50 mph will be possible with these storms.

Locations impacted include...
Cookeville, Livingston, Jamestown, Algood, Monterey, Baxter,
Crawford, Rickman and Cummins Falls State Park.

This includes Interstate 40 between mile markers 274 and 311.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
