...SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR DICKSON...PERRY...HUMPHREYS AND
HICKMAN COUNTIES UNTIL 1145 PM CDT...

At 1102 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Waverly to near Parsons. Movement was east
at 55 mph.

Pea size hail and winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with
these storms.

Locations impacted include...
Dickson, Waverly, Centerville, Camden, Linden, White Bluff, New
Johnsonville, McEwen, Burns, Hurricane Mills, Charlotte, Lobelville,
Vanleer, Bon Aqua, Primm Springs, Lyles, I-40 Near The Tennessee
River, Bucksnort, Mousetail Landing State Park and Pinewood.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 40 between mile markers 136 and 181.
 Interstate 840 between mile markers 1 and 6.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

Tennessee.
