The National Weather Service in Nashville has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Northern Bedford County in middle Tennessee...
  Cannon County in middle Tennessee...
  Northwestern Coffee County in middle Tennessee...
  Rutherford County in middle Tennessee...
  West Central Warren County in middle Tennessee...
  East Central Williamson County in middle Tennessee...
  Southeastern Wilson County in middle Tennessee...

* Until 430 AM CDT.

* At 1037 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
  heavy rain across the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or
  expected to begin shortly.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Doppler radar.

  IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
           highways, streets and underpasses as well as other
           drainage and low lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Murfreesboro, Woodbury, Smyrna, La Vergne, Nolensville,
  Walterhill, Eagleville, Auburntown, Lascassas, Readyville,
  Christiana, Milton, Bradyville, Cedars Of Lebanon State Park,
  Fosterville, Rockvale, Rover and Unionville.

Areas of concern include creeks and streams around Murfreesboro, the
East Fork Stones River from Woodbury to Readyville and Halls Hill,
Fall Creek including Norene, Bradley Creek including Lascassas and
Milton, and Stewart Creek and Rock Springs Branch in Smyrna.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

A Flash Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or occurring.
If you are in the warned area move to higher ground immediately.
Residents living along streams and creeks should take immediate
precautions to protect life and property.
