...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 800 AM CDT
FOR NORTHERN SMITH...WEST CENTRAL JACKSON...SOUTHWESTERN MACON AND
TROUSDALE COUNTIES...

At 744 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 8 miles east of
Hartsville, moving northeast at 40 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
         roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Lafayette, Carthage, Hartsville, South Carthage, Pleasant Shade and
Dixon Springs.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
