The National Weather Service in Nashville has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Southern Davidson County in Middle Tennessee...
  Northern Williamson County in Middle Tennessee...

* Until 645 AM CDT.

* At 613 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Fairview, or
  11 miles west of Franklin, moving northeast at 35 mph.

  HAZARD...Quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Damage to vehicles is expected.

* Locations impacted include...
  Franklin, Nashville, Brentwood, Forest Hills, Oak Hill, Belle
  Meade, Fairview, Bellevue, Antioch, Berry Hill, Leipers Fork and
  Natchez Trace At Highway 96.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 40 between mile markers 195 and 201, and between mile
markers 204 and 214.
 Interstate 65 between mile markers 68 and 87.
 Interstate 24 between mile markers 47 and 62.
 Interstate 840 between mile markers 10 and 16.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Large hail and damaging winds and continuous cloud to ground
lightning is occurring with this storm. Move indoors immediately.
Lightning is one of nature's leading killers. Remember, if you can
hear thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning.
