...FLASH FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1 AM CDT FRIDAY...

The Flash Flood Watch continues for

* A portion of Middle Tennessee, including the following areas,
  Bedford, Cannon, Clay, Coffee, Cumberland, De Kalb, Fentress,
  Giles, Grundy, Jackson, Macon, Marshall, Overton, Pickett,
  Putnam, Rutherford, Smith, Trousdale, Van Buren, Warren,
  White, and Wilson.

* Until 1 AM CDT Friday

* Rainfall this morning ranged from a few tenths to almost two
  inches of rain in the southwest. Heavy rainfall is still
  possible with the storms this afternoon and evening which
  could lead to localized flash flooding. Especially with
  training storms.

* Heavy rainfall along with high rainfall rates will cause
  excess runoff and localized flash flooding in the watch area.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead
to Flash Flooding. Flash Flooding is a very dangerous situation.
You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action
should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.
