...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 730 PM CDT
FOR NORTHEASTERN LEWIS...CENTRAL MAURY...SOUTHWESTERN WILLIAMSON AND
SOUTHEASTERN HICKMAN COUNTIES...

At 712 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Hohenwald,
moving northeast at 75 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Columbia, Hohenwald, Spring Hill, Thompson's Station, Santa Fe,
Gordonsburg, Kimmins, Hampshire, Williamsport, Primm Springs and
Leipers Fork.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 65 between mile markers 49 and 52.
 Interstate 840 between mile markers 12 and 26.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for Middle
Tennessee.

Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Move indoors immediately. Lightning is one of nature's leading
killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to
be struck by lightning.
