...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 430 PM CDT
FOR SOUTHWESTERN DAVIDSON...NORTH CENTRAL MAURY AND CENTRAL
WILLIAMSON COUNTIES...

At 409 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 7 miles west of
Thompson's Station, or 12 miles southwest of Franklin, moving
northeast at 80 mph.

HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and ping pong ball size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
         damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
         considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to
         mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

Locations impacted include...
Franklin, Columbia, Brentwood, Spring Hill, Forest Hills, Oak Hill,
Belle Meade, Thompson's Station, Bellevue, Leipers Fork and Natchez
Trace At Highway 96.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 40 between mile markers 196 and 200.
 Interstate 65 between mile markers 62 and 74.
 Interstate 840 between mile markers 14 and 28.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for Middle
Tennessee.

A tornado watch remains in effect for the warned area. Tornadoes can
develop quickly from severe thunderstorms. Although a tornado is not
immediately likely, if one is spotted act quickly and move to a place
of safety inside a sturdy structure, such as a basement or small
interior room.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
