This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for Middle Tennessee.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

A flash flood watch is in effect for all of Middle Tennessee
as of 1 AM CDT Thursday morning as showers and thunderstorms
spread southwest to northeast across mid state region overnight
bringing potential of heavy rainfall.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

Strong to severe storms are possible Thursday afternoon and evening
for all of Middle Tennessee. Main area of focus concerns locations
just south of Tennessee/Kentucky Border and around and west of the
Eastern Highland Rim and Upper Cumberland Regions. Severe
thunderstorms will be capable of producing damaging wind gusts of
60 mph or greater, large hail, and tornadoes, of which a couple
could be long-track. In addition, 1 to 4 inches of rainfall is
forecasted Thursday through late Thursday Night across mid state
region. This could lead to localized flooding issues and quick
rises on area rivers and creeks.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will likely be needed. Please relay any
information about observed severe weather to the NWS while
following all local, state, and CDC guidelines.
