...The Flood Advisory continues for the following rivers in
Tennessee...

  Piney River Near Vernon affecting Hickman County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Flood Advisory means river or stream flows are elevated, or
ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

The Flood Advisory continues for
  the Piney River Near Vernon.
* Until Tuesday afternoon.
* At 9:45 AM CST Monday the stage was 11.8 feet and falling.
* Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will fall below Action Stage this evening.
* Impact...At 10.0 feet, Water begins to overflow the natural banks
  and inundates low lying areas along the river from Interstate 40
  to near Pinewood, Nunnelly, and down to the Duck River.
