The National Weather Service in Nashville has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Southeastern Davidson County in Middle Tennessee...
  Northwestern Rutherford County in Middle Tennessee...
  Northeastern Williamson County in Middle Tennessee...

* Until 930 PM CDT.

* At 856 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Brentwood, or
  8 miles northeast of Franklin, moving southeast at 25 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Franklin, Smyrna, Brentwood, La Vergne, Nolensville, Forest Hills,
  Oak Hill, Antioch, Berry Hill and Triune.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 65 between mile markers 67 and 80.
 Interstate 24 between mile markers 52 and 72.
 Interstate 840 between mile markers 38 and 47, and between mile
markers 59 and 60.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Large hail and damaging winds and continuous cloud to ground
lightning is occurring with this storm. Move indoors immediately.
Lightning is one of nature's leading killers. Remember, if you can
hear thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning.
