NORTHEASTERN MAURY AND SOUTHEASTERN WILLIAMSON COUNTIES UNTIL 630 PM
CDT...

At 548 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Thompson's Station, or near Franklin, moving southeast at 15 mph.

Winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Franklin, Columbia, Spring Hill, Thompson's Station, Leipers Fork and
I-65 East Of Columbia.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 65 between mile markers 45 and 66.
 Interstate 840 between mile markers 19 and 37.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
