The National Weather Service in Nashville has issued a

* Flood Advisory for...
  Northeastern Davidson County in middle Tennessee...
  Southern Sumner County in middle Tennessee...
  Western Trousdale County in middle Tennessee...
  Northern Wilson County in middle Tennessee...

* Until 1215 AM CDT.

* At 1009 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
  thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
  shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2.5 inches of rain
  have fallen.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Gallatin, Lebanon, Hartsville, Madison, Hendersonville, Mount
  Juliet, Goodlettsville, Lakewood, Belinda City, Rural Hill,
  Hermitage, Old Hickory, Bledsoe Creek State Park, Green Hill,
  Dickerson Chapel Recreation Area and Tuckers Crossroads.

Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the
area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
